Day 2 of the ongoing IPS COLLEGE SPORTS WEEK, witnessed students participating in hordes for the Day's Main Events - Arm-Wrestling and Carrom Championships.

The Day was flagged off with a serene and internally calming Meditation Session by Dr. (CA) Neha Gupta from the Department of Financial Management, followed by a physically rejuvenating Zumba session by Ms. Aditi our Zumba Expert.

It was then the opportunity to unfold the Main Events and the enthusiasm was definitely infectious. Rush for last-minute registrations, picking-up partners for carrom, cajoling each other to participate in arm wrestling, took some time to settle down, but then that's what the objective of IPS SPORTS WEEK is - Participation, Camaraderie, Team-spirit and Loads of Fun!

The best part of the Arm-wrestling event was definitely the participation of Girls - ready to prove their mettle! Fought with the right sportsman spirit, it was a revelation of how students can transform into excellent 'managers' when the situation demands. The unforgettable duel of strength, tactics, and strategy culminated with Manav from BBA III claiming the championship, Kishore of BBA III emerging as the First Runner-up, and Pooja from BBA II lifting it up for the Girls!

Simultaneously, the Carrom Strikers were completely involved in setting their angle strikes, tight strikes, swirls, and hits! Both Singles and Doubles categories saw students participating with similar eagerness and zeal. The Carrom Championship - (Singles Category) witnessed Abhishek Mahavir of BCA II Year emerging as the Winner, Jatin Sharma of BBA II Year as the First Runner-up, and Ishita Kasliwal (BBA II Year), and Tushar Jain (BCA II Year) being adjudged as Joint Second Runners-up

In the doubles category, the Winners were Aditya Kumar and Ashok Vaishnav, and First Runners-up were Dushyant Saini and Ashok Soni, all from BCA II Year.
