It the first skill university of India in the government sector and has been established in Jaipur by the virtue of an ordinance passed in the state assembly on 07.03.2017 by the Govt. of Rajasthan. RISU functions from a 33-acre sprawling and Picturesque ILD campus near the famous Sisodiya Rani ka Bagh, Jamdoi.RISU has been conceptualized to integrate the corridors in vocational training with mainstream education, using National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), and strong industry linkages. The course will be of NSQF level 5 onwards, Diploma (Level 5), Advanced Diploma (Level 6), & B. Voc. Courses (Level 7). As a governing body and affiliated university, RISU plays a crucial role in developing the overall ecosystem for technical and vocational education & training the youth in the State.
Programs Offered
B.Voc in Hotel Management
Duration: 3 Years
The Bachelor of vocation programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is a 3-Year Programme which trains students with the skills, knowledge and attitude to excel in the hospitality sector. The programme comprise of in-depth lab work for students to acquire knowledge and skill in the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. It also teaches executive inputs in subject such as Sales and Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Hotel and Catering Law, Property Management, Entrepreneurship Development and other related subjects.
Duration: 3 Years
- Students who have given 10+2 examinations can Appear for the 3-year course. Candidate/s can walk-in at CHA Campus & Purchase Application Form and appear for the Examination on the spot.
- Skype & Telephonic Interview Facility for remotely located candidates, subject to the clearance of Written test when they visit the campus for admission formalities.
Diploma Programs
Duration: 1 Year
Front office comes in direct contact with clients, including the marketing, sales, and service departments. In the hotel industry, the front office (also known as front desk) welcomes guests to the accommodation section: meet and greet, take and organize reservations, allocate check in and out of rooms, organize porter service, issue keys and other security arrangements, and settling the accounts. While primarily aimed at the hospitality sector, the course provides learners with the knowledge, skills and aptitude for employment in a receptionist, front office, or as administrative role.

Keeping in mind the growing demand of manpower in the culinary world, the module of Food Production focuses on introduction to culinary arts with emphasis on basics of Various Indian & international Cuisines, essential commodities, culinary techniques, equipment and processes involved in food production. Students will be able to make Basic use of ingredients & equipment effectively & efficiently. The students are also able to master this skill by learning simple techniques which opens another avenue of becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Food and Beverage (F&B) department is the heart of the hospitality industry. The course is aimed at providing basic F&B knowledge to the students, and in addition to equip the students with skill sets. The aim of the F & B module is to provide students with an understanding of the operational & supervisory aspects of running a food & beverage operation. Students will gain an understanding of food & beverage & its service in a variety of styles of restaurant & establishments & they will have sufficient knowledge to produce a broad plan for specified food & beverage operations.

The Housekeeping department takes pleasure in keeping the hotel clean and comfortable. Hotels aim in providing customers with clean, attractive, comfortable and welcoming surrounding that offer value for money. The House-Keeping department creates the facilities, services and deals with providing cleanliness, comfort and aesthetic value of any place such as cleaning of guest room, corridors and public areas in a hotel to ensure that the standard of the hotel is maintained. This unit does the decor and design, room layout, selecting proper linen, curtains, carpets, flower arrangement etc.
