Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level computer based exam. It is conducted by IIM’s throughout the country and its scores are used by various management institutes across the country. This test score is useful to get admission in top management institute across the country.

Eligibility Criteria—

  1. Candidate who has completed graduation with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD)
  2. Candidate who is in final year of graduation
  3. Candidate must have completed a professional degree (CA / CS)

CAT analyses the skill of aspirants on the basis of three sections

  1. Quantitative Ability
  2. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
  3. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning

Important Information:

  • Number of Questions: 100
  • Number of Marks: 300
  • Timings (In 3 slots)
  • Morning: 8.30 to 10.30 AM
  • Afternoon: 12.30 to 2.30 PM
  • Evening: 4.30 to 6.30 PM
  • EXAM CENTER – 425+centres
  • Result -January 05, 2021

The Schedule of CAT 20 is as follows :

  • Registration start – August 5th’20
  • Registration Last Date – September 16th’20
  • Exam Date- November 24th’20
  • Exam language –English

CAT 20 GUIDELINES

  1. Admit card with photo affixed on it. No entry without admit card
  2. Identity proof is must
  3. COVID 19 declaration – The candidate are supposed to show self declaration from
    attached in CAT 2020 admit card confirming that they do not have COVID -19 or
    related symptoms .
  4. Also supposed to carry sanitizer.
  5. Wearing face mask throughout the exam is must.

Suggestion:

  • Things to keep in mind before appearing for CAT EXAM
  • Time an Accuracy both should be taken care of
  • Allot time for each section or each question
  • Practice the CAT sample paper
  • Check all the documents required (admit card ,id proof etc.)
  • Say no to panic
